As a Clarinet/Tuba players, I don’t think so much about the flutes lots of the time but my god flute players are really good and so important to the band.

As a flute, playing the melody is not a fun thing especially because we use most of our air on certain notes. They did very well, they played awesome in the higher range. They may have been a little out of tune with each other though.

usually when we practice a piece that we love / enjoy playing. We tend to get used to it and play it fast! This happened at our concert😂. The woodwinds finished like 2 measures before brass and percussion! You guys did a really great job!
