I don't really think the internet is to blame, but it plays a role no doubt. It sickens and scares me what kids are capable of now. When I was 12 I'd cry at the sight of my friends accidentally hurting themselves and bleeding.

You're just focusing on the bad stories that are all over the news. The news never show stories of children doing everyday good things, which is what 99.9% of them. Everyone's capable of doing these things--yes, even children--but it's the people that actually choose to do them that stand out. I'm fourteen and I'd never dream of doing these things, but I don't get plastered over social media for that. Whereas if I stabbed my friend nineteen times, I'd be all over the news. Wow rude.... Well i was a HUGE slender man fan at one point but i would never do anything like this. And even then my dad gets all mad wenever i bring it up or anything creepy pasta .And even if its 99.9( more like 96. Admit it, humans are sometimes insane.) its not just killing, its all sorts of crimes( yes just because its not in america and you havent heard of it doesnt mean it hasnt happend).
