Haha we found ourselves in quite a few tight places in Utah, glad I'm not claustrophobic 😁. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video; we love the area too, hope to return one day!

Hey Guys! Found you over at FB in the I Love Hiking group. We love to connect with and support fellow KZbinrs. This looks like an amazing hike! I dont know if hubby and I would fit in some of those places, though. LOL Absolutely gorgeous scenery - love all those rock formations! Definitely looking forward to more of your adventures! 😃👍

I've watched different hiking videos of this canyon and everyone gets the exhausted, dehydrated look. Your girlfriend looks fresh in every shot like she just started the hike.

Thanks! The hiking was pretty easy inside Coyote Gulch but yes, our entrance and exit weren't exactly simple. Even driving to the water tank trailhead was a little sketchy 😬

You can also access Coyote Gulch from the Hurricane Wash trailhead, it just requires more hiking and you won't get to start with that amazing view of the canyon and Stevens Arch

Holy moly is that crag narrow! Can you just drink the water from the river or do you need to filter it? The wee waterfall looked like a perfect spot for swimming...thanks for sharing the adventure. Btw: do you have any snakes or so there?
@WanderingBlock
@WanderingBlock 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I'm honestly not sure how common snakes are in southern Utah. We didn't see any! Where we live in the Ozarks, Central USA, snakes (both venomous and non venomous) are pretty common here.
@WanderingBlock
@WanderingBlock 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, just noticed your question about the water; we filter it.

Awesome video! I was there in Sept. I wanted to do the crack but ended up entering via Hurricane wash and exited the same way, Did you check out Peekaboo and Spooky gulches in the area? I came close to stepping on a rattlesnake near that stream. New subscriber. Awesome content. I need to get better with my vids.
@WanderingBlock
@WanderingBlock 3 жыл бұрын
We did not go to Peekaboo or Spooky Gulch. We had in in our itinerary but that we were due for some rest after the Coyote Gulch hike and the hikes the two days before. There's so much to see around there, there will always be reason to go back!
@MoutainGuyAdventures
@MoutainGuyAdventures 3 жыл бұрын
@@WanderingBlock Yeah. Peekaboo and Spooky gulch is a 5.5 mile hike, so I get it. I have a few vids on it on my channel of the difficult spots. Lots of scrambling similar to the crack. How far did you lower the packs in that section? Your channel is awesome.
@WanderingBlock
@WanderingBlock 3 жыл бұрын
@@MoutainGuyAdventures thanks, I appreciate it! We didn't have to lower our packs too far, maybe like 10-15 ft if I had to guess. Getting down thru Crack in the Wall was actually simpler than I had anticipated. Definitely wouldn't want to exit that way though, it would require walking up some pretty big sand dunes lol

Are permits required?.
@WanderingBlock
@WanderingBlock 4 жыл бұрын
They have permits at the trailhead register boxes to fill out but that's it, no reservations or anything special needed. If you go make sure you check the website for all the info and rules, a few important things to know is the trailhead we parked at definitely requires 4x4 to get to and you have to pack out your solid waste so you need to bring wag bags.
