To the ones who say that “don’t be sad, it’s just a horror game where laalaa dies in it.” Well to answer this case, yes it indeed is. but here is the thing, people have feelings and some people loved laalaa in their childhood. and mean while laalaa had to suffer in agony and had to be put down, it is really sad. with the added music, it just seems to make it more depressing. also, music gives people their own feelings and how the get their personality. and this music right here, makes it sad basically while making the player see laalaa die in a suffering pain after eating the custard. so a summary, laalaa is indeed just a character from a tv show and watching them die in a game isn’t too harsh. but think of the fact that others have feeling too and it doesn’t really matter if you do, too.

I think honestly this was ironically the scariest part of the game. Until that point, you're just fighting to stay alive. Nobody can blame you, the player, for doing what you must. Here, though... you can become a murderer, or abandon a friend. The whole scene is a reminder that the monsters were all once happy, frolicking Tubbies who aren't hostile out of their own will. There's no honor or glory in triumphing against them. Laa-Laa was just a scared friend... without her, the silence is now deafening.

And to think that laa laa wasn't aware of what's about to happen, considering she escaped tinky winky, but still, no one will see laa laa the same, wether they woke her up or left her asleep, it's the way that laa laa was the only one who finally knew what losing a friend felt like, cause she lost all of them, now they are mindless killing machines with nothing but the urge to kill, and with her being forever in pain, or in heaven, alone. (Now I will accept the ending where you die from po) and she constantly worryed about the safety of her friends, and, without a care in the world, left everyone clueless as to why she was concerned, she was the only one who knew, and the last one to die. Though whether in pain or at rest, she will continue to live/think in fear

I dont think anyone else has realised this, but there is possibly another infected version of laa laa, if you decide to take laa laa with you as po, laa laa dies and has her eyes scratched out, but if you choose to leave her in the house she comes to the outskirts with both of her eyes intact, and if you decide to not kill her, she turns into a monster, but if her eyes are not scratched out during that, it means that there is another infected version of her with eyes.

Probably not, as it's canonically confirmed that Laa Laa is one of the only infected individuals who still have some humanity in them. Being a monster is bound to be extremely painful on its own, which explains why she constantly twitches. So she probably scratched her eyes out , out of pure insanity. I'd always put her out of her misery in every one of my playthroughs because of this. Poor Laa Laa...

Theory: the reason why we, the Guardian begin to see the Shadow Tubby in the DLC is because, after killing Laa Laa, the Shadow Tubby attached itself to a new vessel; us, the Guardian. We were the closest in proximity to Laa Laa in her final moments, heck, we CAUSED it. (No matter what alternate story route we take.) We were the closest vessel he could get a hold of.
