As a truck driver that first story where the guy says he hast to stop every 90 minutes or take a three hour break isn’t true you’re only required to take a break for 30 minutes after eight hours of driving and then after 11 hours of driving you have to be off for 10 hours so it’s hard to believe the rest of that story

FYI, Some things an American would never say: "Lorry" ; "And my wife is sat to the left of me" - I don't know if using that tense of the verb is even grammatical, but in any case an American would say "And my wife is sitting to the left of me." (The same goes for "standing" vs. "stood" - "And there I was, standing there...", never "And there I was, stood there...")
