Conspicuously, a domino effect is happening and greatly affects immigrants, especially our kababayan’s. I pity fellow Filipinos who eyeing a Canadian dream of studying, working, and living here but the government made the rules terrible. Hope this will end soon and punish all those morons who pretend to be the origin of this country.

Frustrating. I mean, as a student its hard to land a job under teer 0 to 3 because of your school sched. Companies usually requires weekdays office schedule. Tapus ngaun sa new announcement kelangan nmn Teer 0 or 1 which are usually managers and professionals para mka renew ang spouse ng owp. Karamihan, to get managerial jobs kakailanganin mo pa ng Canadian experience related to the position.

If hindi ikaw ang receiving end which are citizens and PR na sending hundreds of resume to companies tapos ni isa walang tumatawag, you’ll understand. Why? Because international student lang naman talaga yung pinapasok pero yung sinasama buong barangay na. Lol dati naman walang ganyan eh, dapat lang na baguhin nila and make sure na quality and not quantity ang nakakapasok dito.

Lot of student in my MBA class cannot get job in Teer 1. Most student are finding job in TEER 2 or 3. So MBA graduate spouses in that case cannot get their spousal open work permit. This is awful.

Hi. With the new policy that was recently released regarding SOWP, will it affect those who are just waiting for the result? I applied for my SOWP and dependent on June 24, 2024, and until now, I still haven't received any result. For example, if my SOWP result comes out on January 22 and it gets refused, will we be affected by the new policy? If I reapply him or apply him for restoration, do I need to have a job in TEER 0 or 1? I'm sorry, I’m getting confused with all the changes in the policy. 😢

Hello po coach.. naka apply po ng pr yung brother ko at wala pa po ang AOR nya. May consultant po sya sa pr application nya. LMIA work permit holder po sya ngayon construction po work nya. Pero this coming march 2025 ma e expired na po ang LMIA work permit nya. Ang mahal po sinisingil ng consultant nya sa pag apply ng extension ng work permit nya kaya gusto po nyang mag DIY nalang kaso wala po syang access sa gckey nya ayaw pong ibigay ng consultant nya sa pr application nya. Pwede po ba syang gumawa ng panibagong gckey nya para sa pag apply ng work permit nya kahit kasalukuyan naka process po ang pr nya? Thank you po sana may maka sagot po sa katanungan ko.

Im a student in Business Mgmt. (2 yr. diploma) and will graduate May 2025. My study permit expires July 2025 as will my wife's OWP. I'm currently working part time in a TEER 3 position and will be updated to permanent full time after graduating. So I can no longer extend my wife's OWP if I don't secure a TEER 0-2 job? I thought spouse OWP extensions are permitted under the same provisions on the permit? Please advise, thank you po.

If your job is in a high demand area, you should be ok.. cause they will cut Teers 2 and 3 jobs with low demand..

Ate pwede ba isubmit na lang sa webform ang celpip test result? Un na lang kasi kulang ko. Ung celpip ko kasi napending pa kaso nagkaproblem sa end ni celpip testing centre na meron part ng speaking test ko daw ung di narecord so sabi nila need ko iretake ang speaking category lang kaso ung nakuha kong slot ng test ay sa january 17 pa. Baka kasi maabutan ako ng new policy. Gusto ko na magapply ng pgwp plus owp extension sana.

Its not clearly said na included ang pgwp+sowp application. Para kasing this is an update for new IS and for tfws +sowp. Di ako sure if i understand this new update correctly.

PGWP is considered temporary residents, ang tanung lang sinong PGWP applicants ang apektado. When they implemented the english requirements it was pretty clear, but not for this one. So lets see baka may updated pa sila ippost s website.
