Thanks to you I fell in love with this piece! The site still says "in production" with a ship date of September 30, but I went ahead and ordered it a couple days ago, thinking it would be backordered for a while, but then I received a ship notification this morning! Very mysterious! But I will be glad to have it much earlier than expected. So anyone who is dismayed by what is on Gucci's site about this not being available, I suggest you order it anyway.

The Prada pouches are so useful, they are light, so useful for pills, small first aid stuff, comb, tissues, wipes etc. Mine is in 🍊 orange, I love it.

I have a black Prada cosmetic pouch I’ve had since 2003. I throw it in the washing machine. It’s held up so well!

LV makes great wallets. I have an LV wallet, technically I think LV calls it an organizer, but it’s a wallet similar to yours, but has a billfold on one side and card slots on the other instead of card slots on both sides. It is amazing. I’ve had it over a decade. I did have to replace the zipper after a decade because I probably overstuffed the coin section but otherwise it is in perfect condition. I can’t imagine ever getting another style of wallet as long as that one is available.

I can absolutley agree with the Prada pouch! I have it in the smaller, more rectangular size and it is the most perfect size for a catch-all! I agree with you re: full size wallets. Small wallets are more practical but there’s something about a full wallet that makes me feel grownup and “ladylike”. My Zippy is the same is yours and honestly it holds so much and def it would add considerable weight. I find zipping and unzipping it very satisfying for some reason… I’m keeping mine until my dying day LOL - enjoy your purchases, they’re all beautiful! I think the phone case could be good for AirPods if you have them :-).

I am sorry, I just have to point this out once again: That caviar on the umbrella… Omg..it shines like no other. There is depth and richness to it. All of those vanity cases, o cases today…no comparison. You should check out the older lamp-skin vanities. They look so sturdy, straight, robust. Personally, I also don’t really like the new Gucci Ophedia style so much, either… Why on earth two different logos together?? (Old canvas pattern and new GG shape of metal plates). Too messy for me..I totally agree about the larger wallets. They are timeless and have more character. OG butterflies, yess. Xx

It’s such a vintage piece. The 24k gold on the strap and turn lock are 🤩🔥. I think you need to use it as a home decor piece. Hang it on the wall. People hang all kinds of stuff on their walls. The umbrella 😍😍😍 I would definitely keep it and use it on a rainy date night with a simple LBD and a chanel mini bag. The bag could be used for a camera tripod as well. How do you pack the chanel vanity case without the handle getting smashed? I’m leaning towards a LV Nice although Chanel really is the pretty boy. 😉 Finally: I love carrying paper photos as well. Not to be in your pocket book, but if you can afford to “waste” (a term I use lightly) the money you spent on the umbrella, I’d keep it. It’s very unique and who knows how you’ll feel about it later in life. It’s such a beautiful piece. If you really feel “bad” about it sitting in the closet shelf, sell it to someone who may give it more use in life ❤️

Keep the umbrella case, I have a feeling that you could use it while you’re walking your dogs, keep the doggie disposal bags in there with some snacks for the dog. And you can keep your card on the side/cash whatever in that little pocket. It would be the most upscale doggy bag ever but at least you would be walking your dog in style🤦🏾‍♀️

You definitely influenced me to pick up the Gucci key pouch. It's not sold in Australia and my local boutique didn't even know about its existence. I bought mine from SSENSE and absolutely adore it. I keep my car fob and cards in it with plenty of room to spare. Such a versatile SLG. I hope they bring this out in different prints and make them available internationally.

Oh my goodness. While I always lived the look, I used to think the Nice Nano was practically useless because it was so small, but I never thought about using it as a catch-all in my larger totes! On the wishlist it goes!

Keep the umbrella! Maybe set it up as a decorative item for your home. A large clear fishbowl with black and white beads in the bottom, add your umbrella and a couple of flowers. Decorative CC 😁!
