No, this is about their recording software during the conference call. I am not sure what they use, but it definitely is not set up correctly. No offense to these ladies because I know they aren't technically savvy, but this is definitely recording software issue. Not sure how far they are from each other when in the meeting. I recommend OBS Studio and I definitely recommend that whomever is the hosting of the video call that they MUST be on a hard-wired ethernet connection to their local ISP connection. It cannot be via WiFi, too much overhead network bandwidth loss. I also recommend that each recipient must have their monitor resolution at 1080p and the recording needs to be on a network that is not congested with heavy traffic except their recording and video call.

play the video. Then drag to the start, get ready, press play and then react to fix the insanely bad buffering. it's like watching vidoes on the internet back in 1998. It's just horrendous.

Charlie's tech support here... some ideas 'bout the video lagging... - don't stream the incoming videos in between your two computers in HD or higher. you don't need to "see" each other in ultra HD wasting bandwidth - no need to stream the music video with a resolution higher than 1080p either if your final video itself is just 1080p as well; you're only wasting bandwidth - try NOT TO safe the live video recording on the system drive or your user directory but use a separate dedicated external hard disk (SSD drive) ; this can be setup in your recording software - if possible change the folder(s) for "temporary files" in your recording app to be on a different / separate hard drive(s) as well - add more RAM (memory) to your computer another 16 or 32 GB will always do the trick. a computer can't have too much RAM this are super general vanilla performance tips w/o having any clue what software, internet connection or computer you're using. the little Goblins in your computer handling a) your local audio and video stream, b) Rocky's incoming audio and video stream, c) the incoming YT video and audio streams at the same time bump into each other passing thru the same bottleneck storage door if there is only one hard drive aka lagging behind in delivering the data simultaneously. If each stream can go to its "own" dedicated (or less busy) drive they can pass their own hallways and be much quicker in storing all them moving pictures together with the sound. I'm sure your brother can #explainit if he is a good brother who loves and adores you 🙂
