oh yeah, no, I do. in fact I echo that sentiment myself, and what better way to express that than literally echoing the line

Im a huge fan of Skutnik but missed this games release and only just played it, took me about 9 hours to finish so its definitely his longest and most complete game. 10/10 from me.

You say in your review, that the puzzles are reminiscent of Covert Front, Submachine and DaymareTown, but that’s really 3 very different types of puzzles. Covert Front has simple puzzles limited to specific locations, with minimal backtracking. Submachine is much more about unlocking new locations and having things from one place do something in a completely different place. Daymare Town in turn has very difficult and often dream logic based puzzles, with a lot of pixel hunting, money and inventory management as well as multiple solutions for many puzzles, with plenty of interactions not even necessary to finish the game.

what do you think of submachine legacy?

This looks similar to TOHU (Fireart Games), Candle: The Power of the Flame (Teku Studios), The Inner World series (Headup Games and Fizbin), and Creaks (Amanita Design). All are point-and-click adventures that use fanciful, hand-drawn art styles, and the first three at lease have explore-collect-apply gameplay with puzzles. Not sure how Creaks plays.

Initially Submachine, Covert Front and Daymare Town had nothing to do with each other. Only in Fourth Covert Front game and the Peter Navarre Crecy Evaluation we can see clear conection into Submachine. For a long time Daymare Town was completly separate but with Slice of sea it also connects into Submachine universe.

@@jatsko3113 Can you explain the device that Carl von Toten was working on in Covert Front 4? It's clearly a navigation device we used in Submachine 3. A lot of technology was also from submachine like the forcefield walls. Maybe they are not the same universe but maybe they are various conected universes.

1:17 is "Gorogoa" from Buried Signal. 1:48 is "Machinarium" and then "Creaks" (i think at first i heard grease lol which could be an interesting game name!) both from Amanita Designs. :)
