Slick should be in the HOF just for this song.
@skyfire0072 жыл бұрын
He should be. He might have been by now if he wasn't part of the on and off concussion lawsuit against WWE since 2016. Even though the case got dismissed not too long ago, you know WWE, they are rather snobbish against those that files or gets associated with lawsuits against them. With a lot of the previous era of WWF personalities not around anymore, and most recently losing Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon, after a while you get too old to hold grudges and start having some regrets of some kind later on. WWE just need do what's best for business and put Slick in. That's why they're trying to coax Scott Steiner currently so the Steiners can get inducted as a team as they should be or they'll just induct Rick solo. Yes, we know much of it is influenced due to the success of Rick's kid Bron Breakker in NXT.
@deontyler9602 жыл бұрын
@@skyfire007 Wow didn't know about Slick lawsuit with WWE. But, didn't one of the Steiner brothers criticized the WWE Hall of fame for awhile?
@skyfire0072 жыл бұрын
@@deontyler960 Yeah, Scott Steiner for years. Though he blames WWE for his failed second run, for which honestly, he was already on the decline during WCW's tail end because the he got so damn big by buffing into infinity taking the Big Poppa Pump schtick so damn seriously and getting injuries, he was nowhere near the wrestler he once was. I'm guessing that the current success of Bron Breakker (they might as well just call him Bron or Bronson Steiner finally), probably had a helpful influence to getting Scott to extend a partial olive branch.
@deontyler9602 жыл бұрын
@@skyfire007 Thank you for your quick response. I got into WWF in 1989 until it got boring and crazy to Wrestlemania 9 and stopped watching. I saw WCW maybe 10 times I fully couldn't get into it fully for some reason. I remember in the beginning of watching WCW the Chucky doll was threatening one of the Steiner brothers to leave the other Steiner brother alone. Then few years later Scott Steiner went from looking like a thick college wrestler to a bodybuilder with a whole new look. Was Scott Steiner that bad in WCW and WWE? And who is Ron Steiner cause I thought he had a brother named Rick?
@skyfire0072 жыл бұрын
@@deontyler960 Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner) the NXT Champion is Rick Steiner's kid. Looks like Rick, but sounds like Scott and wrestles as a mash of the two more akin of their Steiner Brothers tag days. Rick has already been on NXT a couple of times. Most of the NXT audience knew who Bron was when he got there, they just hate the idea he has a bad gimmicky last name. Now that the Steiners are finally in the Hall of Fame, WWE should just simply acknowledge Bron as Steiner and ditch the Breakker name. Especially the current storyline coming off of Wrestlemania weekend, Joe Gacy and Harland basically kidnapped Rick.
