Love your journey, you have inspired me to cut mine off. I made an appt with a barber. I have ice length of hair too. My hair type is truly 4C. If you don't mind me asking your age? I am 41 and have greys. Do you have greys growing in with your new hair? Do you color your hair? Although I plan to wear wigs for the most part I want the option of wearing it short too without the greys.

Thanks for commenting 😊 I just turned 42 with a few greys coming in. I haven't colored my hair since shaving my head and don't plan to. But If I do color in the future, it'll be with henna.

Hey pretty! Can you wear this style every day or do you have breakage from the gel?

I didn't have any breakage because I didn't keep the style for long. I'm sure if you keep it for more than a week it possibly may damage your hair. I think it would all depend on the condition of your hair prior to doing this style and what product you use.

I tried that style and hated it because like you said with all that gel it was so stiff. It was cute and good for a day style if your going somewhere but other than that I could not handle that stiff hard hair.
