Great series. I'm subscribed! I think you are in error at 15:30, when you "activate" your jogging card. My understanding is that it costs an Hourglass token to place on that card and activate it. Then you pay the "cost," which in the case of Jogging, is yet another Hourglass token. See page 12 of the Rules, and also see a thread I was part of on BGG. Thus, two hourglass tokens in this situation. This is confirmed by the designer on BGG forums.

Thanks Chuck! Wow, I had no idea that was the intention, the 2nd edition upgrade cards I have now (the video is all 1st edition stuff) have removed those hourglasses (unless something used to cost 2, now it has 1 hourglass on it) so I wonder if the designers changed their minds since?

I'm sitting here looking at my version that just came from Stronghold. Jogging card L1 is no cost, L2 is no cost, L3 is 1 Hourglass, and L4 is 2 Hourglasses. Designer says on BGG that getting L3 would thus require THREE Hourglass tokens, EVEN IF you had already activated the card at L3 in the same round. Surprising but true; I assume it's a balance issue -- have not yet played the game.

Yeah it does seem like the Jogger and Scouts and some others are rebalanced I just wonder if they decided this rule for the 2nd edition, for example the TV presenter or Yoga for example used to cost 0,1,1,2 time and now cost 0,0,0,1. It would make sense to me that in the 1st edition the hourglass you were putting on to do the upgrade was the extra cost that was listed and has now been removed. I'm just guessing though, I hadn't seen this thread until a few minutes ago :)

the group projects I think allow you to take up to two roles, so you can still get a bonus

32:34 you can do it with your four knowledge, and get the knowledge you need for your job from Jamie... And instead, you pick a fourth slot again.

And you didn't pay upkeep on your items when you entered old age. This win is asterisked so much it becomes the definition of asterisk win.

You should have taken one stress when you got your job (4th slot). Would have been prevented if you finished your spiritual growth first.

For some reason when filming I kept forgetting the 3 slot rule (apart from at the start of rounds), but you're right that I could do things in a different order and things would work out :) Same in the example at 32:34, I should just finish the project THEN get a new one
