And it is so sad that nobody was there for him it seems like he was the type of person should have been there for anybody if they needed anything or just somebody to talk to and it's so sad and watching videos from him in 97 it breaks my heart because I don't even know the guy and I can look at his face in his eyes and see the pain in the torment in the heart and anger and everything that he's going through I can see it and I can feel it just by watching him and how his bandmates did not see how bad it was for as close as they were all supposed to be for all those years it's hard for me to imagine that they didn't know that it was as bad as it was even if they didn't know about the injury and all that they should have been able to tell that something was wrong there really is just so sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It's amazing to see the interview with Bono about this song. Bono couldn't go to Sydney and Michael couldn't come to Dublin or London due to schedules. They laid the tracks down separately. The irony is Michael died before Bono got the package with all he needed to record his part. Very haunting and amazing. Brilliant song.

Cut tragically short by the anonymous assault in 1992 that caused serious brain injury, that had negative effects on his personality and life. It eventually led to his suicidal depression. My heart grieves for the life he was robbed of living. Bono was a close friend and recorded his part of this track after Michael had done his part and had died.

This is at the Loreley festival. In the beginning of the vidéo. What i like is the fact that INXS was still one of the best band. At the beginning the audience was comme-ci comme-ça. But after a few songs Michael and the rest of the band made people like chameleons. They totally changed and they were under the unique energy of the best frontman ever-for me- and the musical vibes of INXS. In the middle of this gig,even Michael changed and all- the band + the audience- had a very rock-funk pleasure to be there. Suddenly,this was The place to be.

All of them were great to us. Michael had a profoundly charismatic presence that absolutely defied articulation.
