Good instructional video. I would think a stop preventing it from sliding too far out is more important than a stop forward towards the cab...

Thank you sir! And I absolutely agree, that’s one thing I need to add. The front stop (by cab) is definitely important, but having that one to stop from coming out to far is a good idea too. I kinda just trained myself to know when to stop, but I will eventually add that last stop block just to be safe

Excellent video! Quick question, I have the Diamondback HD cover under my bed rack, and wondering if I can install 2 of the slide out extrusion bars flat on the bed cover and bolt in a pelican air case on top of if to be able to slide it out from under the bed rack.

Hey brother, how did you mount your pelican case on the panel ? Wanting to do something similar, I wasn’t sure if you reinforced the inside with a metal bar or anything like that. Thank you!

Yo buddy! Sorry man, just seeing your question. I used bolts/nylon locking nuts through the cases and fender washers inside the cases to distribute the weight over a larger area, they’ve been holding up great! Hope that helps!

Cool addition to the rack. On the Xtrusion video, they show the cab side bearing flipped to keep the slide from over extending. Was that due to the center brace?

Thank you!…yea you can actually still do that if ya wanted to…I have mine to where I know where to stop it before it pops outta the front bearings…it’s not needed but definitely a nice touch for anyone worried about pulling the slide out too far!

Love the setup. I'm being picky here but why on earth would they not coat all bolts, washers, and nuts to be black? The mixed matched colors are irritating for the price and very noticeable.
