I’m SO glad this exists!! I was giving this song an actual good isolated listen with headphones for the first time, when I suddenly noticed there was a sick ass piano undertone on the offbeats at 5:03 that I had never heard before. i love seeing videos like this because it makes me appreciate just how tight the composition was in SM64. given the limitations of the time, everything still sounds really nice on its own, but still meshes beautifully into the final song. you can recognize every individual element on its own as slider, but you still don't really GET slider until they all come together, which is incredible to me
@mr.oscilloscope2 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more on that statement. Nintendo was the one to not dissappoint, espically when it came to their music.

why hasn't a real bluegrass band or just a band in general covered this yet 😭 listening to the instruments separated, i realize this song is actually way more performable than I originally thought it was. the only part I'm not sure if can be played is the banjo, because I don't play banjo. I don't know what's physically possible or not 😂 but everything else is within the realm of reason for a live performer.
