Delighted to see you got my 4.2 L Jaguar Invicta Special departing at 13:13 (duo in matching Tilley hats). With the oncoming car I didn't want to floor it and perhaps drift on to that side like the Escort RS driver two behind did at 13.28! Many thanks for this momento of a great event.

All stock 1971 XJ6 series one 4.2 litre manual overdrive except for the custom vintage style body. So mechanical parts still easy to get. @@njmittonyt

Slides and erratic behavior gets classic car shows closed down.

During the show there was an organised auto test which encouraged sliding about on the grass. The road surface was better off after the slides than the grass was I’ll say. No problem with the exits and this was by no means erratic there is worse in other places.
