This man was a part of my childhood when I used to listen to 107.7 KSOL In the early 80s. Then, I followed him on 106.1 KMEL, then of course, I followed him on 98 one kiss FM. I had no idea that he was a white guy. He was pretty funky for a white dude. May this man rest in heavenly peace. When he passed away, it made me really sad and I felt like my childhood died. And good God! Can he mix and play good music. Thanks for the memories Michael.

I did not know about his passing until I cam across this. He was one of my earliest inspirations to become a DJ. He was a true legend in the Bay Area. I am very saddened to find this out. RIP Michael Erickson!

I was listening to some of his old mixes and just happened to find this site. I listened to him growing up and wanting to mix just like him. He and Cameron Paul were the 2 of the best bay area deejays I looked up to. RIP Micheal.
