Hi Nevena, if you don’t have morph you can also use the “fly in” effect from the side on each slide to achieve the exact same effect. You could also use PowerPoint online which is the latest version (for free).

Hi, when it fades instead of morph it can be because of 2 reasons. 1. The layer order (of certain items/objects) is the same between slides. 2. The grouped items aren’t exactly the same. Best to duplicate the last slide again and rework from there without changes to the content 🙏💜

Hi, this is because the content on both slides isn’t exactly the same. It could be the layers that aren’t in the same order, or some items that are grouped together differently on some slides.

Easy to follow. However, after I preview the slides with morph effects, the 2nd & 3rd slide won't take the effect. only the 4th and 1st slide took effect. But when I play in a slide show all slides played correctly. How's that possible? Can you help me out? Thank you. ^_^

Hmm.. that’s strange. Haven’t experienced that before. Normally the transition just fades if some layers aren’t the same between slide (or grouped items). But if the slideshow works it should be fine 👍

Hi, I grouped all content per tab using Ctrl + G. Then I selected all the tabsat the same time by holding Ctrl + left clicking all 4 grouped tabs. To move them horizontally in a straight line I held shift while dragging the selection. 👍

Hi, this probably has to do because either the layers aren’t the same between slides, or the items are grouped differently. It needs to be exactly the same. Otherwise it fades 🙏

Hi Nora, that’s 99% of the time related to the layers that aren’t in the same order between two slides. Make sure to create the final tabs first, group them, stack them on top of each of their, and then duplicate the slides where you pull the tabs out.

Hmm, not sure why that is happening. Is it the morph transition that is turning everything black? In that case you might need to check if the layers are exactly the same between slides, and that the grouped items are exact as well.

Hi, I created the main slide with all the tabs (grouped per tab). Then duplicated the slide and pulled out a tab for each one. You have to make sure all items are grouped similarly, and in the same order

Hi Snowik, at what stage do you struggle? It usually doesn’t work when some items are grouped on one slide, while ungrouped on the other. In that case try with a simple shape on a slide to check if it works 🙏

Just checked. Looks like you need SVG files to add a gradient fill. Doesn’t work with the standard ones. You can also recreate it if it’s a simple icon (e.g. human, car, tree,…) then it will work after you merge everything together

I would suggest to try it with simple rectangles to get the effect right first. If that works all should be fine 👍

Hi Robert, which version of powerpoint are you working on? You will need a relatively recent version for merge. I'm using Office 365 myself

hi, i have to click on morph through each slide every-time when doing my presentation. how do i auto-morph in a way like while i scroll to the next slide, it automatically moves to the right?

Hi, you can select all the slides at once (in the preview selection at the left) and apply the morph transition in batch. This way it applies to all the selected slides. You can hold ctrl while selecting multiple slides. Or select the first slide + hold shift + select the last one to select all the slides in between.

@@SlideSkills i’ve done that thank you :) can you give me tips on how to present this? it’s for a seminar, i have already done everything in the video but i’m not sure how to use slide show etc. i tried but it keeps automatically moving my slides within seconds, i need time to present each slide individually and i want to be able to click to move to the next one when i’m done if that makes any sense

When i shift everything to the left like u do the other slide didn't turned out like they did in ur tutorial than when i tried to duplicate them and swipe them the writing didn't came out with it sorry my English isn't very good please help me this is for my graduation

Hi Hadil, make sure to group all items together per tab. So you will have 4 tabs (and thus 4 groups). Then you can duplicate and pull them out one by one.
