I knit with alpaca yarn, most is grown in America (yes, there are alpaca farms here). But some of the yarn is from Peru. It is so soft. It is really popular. They are lovely animals, but they can get tempers.

Mike is so adorably cute with the alpacas and going down that slide. I really appreciate him going out and exploring and learning about and respecting other cultures. AlphaLobo depends on the season and your budget, if you wanna go light with just one bag of clothes you can find some tickets for less thab $500, sometimes 350. Expenses will also be determined to what part of Peru you want to go, there is jungle, mountains and sea side, all have beautiful places to visit. The food is really good, you can go to the markets and eat with the locals or you can go to high end restaurants. My advice is, is possible have a local tour or friend show you places. Im peruvian but i live in the states, i spent 2 weeks there (not enough time) and spent around 2000 plus hotel expenses (which will also depend on what level of comfort you want to be in) an average is around 60 per night.

Small harder rock beating on large soft rock. It's slow but when you have a couple of generations of free labor... it's doable.

Yeah, they DO know how they make them. It just takes a lot of time. It's simple, just rough-shape the rock, then hammer the bits that stick out. And yes, it's possible to do it even with big rocks. Don't believe everything the tourist-trappers and frauds say. Also? Be careful sliding those things. I tore the backside out of a pair of jeans sliding down a waterfall about that size when I was a kid. Also some of the skin underneath ...
