A possible application: shower curtain loops. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. Wish you well.

Surprised I haven’t tried this, thanks. Sure, the bowline is the king of knots, but the alpine butterfly is the queen of knots.

That's exactly what I've always said. And, like always, you'll find me over schmoozing the ladies. I've tried easily 25-1 AB to Bowlines. Easily. But y'know that tracks as well. The Queen in chess has all the moves, exponentially so over the King. Clove hitch would be the Knight. Truckers Hitch →rook. Square knot, or the prusik→ bishops. Half hitches or bights, maybe the granny knot, would make up the pawns.

Then the sliding butterfly is The Drag Queen of knots. The Madame Butterfly, if you will.

@@KnottingKnots I'm looking @ options for displaying all of my knotting projects, bell ropes fobs, sinnets etc. I have a small studio with irregular concrete walls. This rig will allow me to suspend my work from the ceiling. I find it it perpetuates my creativity to view what I've done. Better than keeping everything in boxes. So, thank you.
