This is awesome. Actuaslly another way to tackle something I needed to do with my code. The other way I found was to use get_closest_point() on a line 2d, but it had some problems when moving it around. Can this also be done with paths or curves? I'd like to make a flash-like minigame where the player has to drag an object through a simple (but not perfectly geometrical) path. Do you have any insight on that?
