loud v 100t and navi v heretics are both absolutely brutal matchups to be a single elim. ik it's their own fault for being in that position but ehhhhh it's frustrating.

At least I somewhat believe loud and 100t are the 3rd/4th best team in Americas based on what we saw in playoffs - kru did beat both of them. If they are, it’s unfortunate that the 4th best team gets 5th place, but the top 3 teams will make Shanghai if they don’t get upset (and if they do, I’m not sure they really are definitively better than the other teams). KC, FNC, and Liquid all lost to Heretics, NAVI, and FUT.

100T had such a good performance at Americas, and their reward it's playing against LOUD in the 1st round, in a single elim game. Yikes.

I know you're trying to make the point of the format being awful but I don't think a 3-2 record is a good performance. They def look much better than before tho and better than a lot of other Americas teams.
