its just me or do i imagine the person singing it is causing a distraction for others to escape. (like my idea was a virus infected everything and caused it to be violent to anyone making sound kinda like a silent place. the last civilization on earth built a portal leading to another planet but only in a last ditch effort. @@SlightChance i also just came up with an idea for the person that is causing the distraction was kind of one of those people you know of but dont really talk to thats regarded as a "nobody" but in the end decided to be the important somebody the lyrics that make me think this is the part when he says "they have been talking shit about me. Thats the reason im ghost." He heard the city folk talking shit about him about how hes nobody and his facination with music in that world is a horrible idea but that music he focused on, ghosting himself from the city is what had given them their saving grace.
