Another beautiful day on the boat and today being Sunday it was a nice relaxing Sunday cruise. About the audio it did go down a little after a while, but I just increased the volume and that was that. For a little jocularity, after watching Anchor Girl smash the ice in her cup, I would never tangle with her, might get beat up. Love the ride. Thank you for the enjoyment that you bring to us.

I was so happy to see the legendary Boogaboo crew on the water again with this beautiful video, what a nice bonus that was after the news about putting Boogaboo for sale. I soaked it in and I was delighted you both had a great time, nice scenary too!

Yes, this mini getaway really turned us around, insofar as our outlook on boating. It helped 'bring us back' to looking forward to new adventures on the water - but with a twist. Can't say for sure what the future holds for us, but we just might do more trips like this, taking just a few days away, as opposed to the two, three or five weeks major getaways.

Ok...you were right...that water is even better than the water in last week's video! Amazing tour through the island to see the damage and the awesome food truck!

Okay, I actually re-watched the video after reading your comment, but still couldn't find the island tour, nor the food truck you mentioned. I realize I'm getting older, but you gotta help a guy out here ;-)

@@BoatingWithBoogaboo lol. Just realized it’s a comment I made on another KZbin I watched! That is not what I typed in your video! Maybe it copied and pasted when I went to hit enter! Sorry Paul. But I was happy to see Anchor Girl get back in the boat without issue. Lots of nice cruising shots too. But ya gotta stop breaking your equipment or dropping it in the water. lol. Be good!

Nice to see you guys got a mini vacation in on your boat. After all, what are summers for? Good vid!
@BoatingWithBoogaboo3 ай бұрын
This one was two years overdue! Never got much of a real holiday last summer, and our three days away in July were less than enjoyable. We're looking to get away for another night, hopefully this weekend, so stay tuned 🙂

I want to get a grill for my boat next summer. I already have the mount but the previous owner kept the post.

Depending on the manufacturer, you shouldn't have a problem finding a replacement post. Check the Amazon Jungle site. . .

Is there anything to do off the boat when you dock at at Lock? And what is the daily rate to use their water and electricity?
@BoatingWithBoogaboo3 ай бұрын
The beauty of this particular lock is that it is located in the middle of the nowhere - not even road access - which keeps it generally quiet and peaceful. That said, we've spent many days/overnights at a number of the 44 other locks along the 240 miles/386 km route over the years, some of which are situated right alongside of small towns. Those offer restaurants and nice areas to walk within a short distance of the locks. I'd invite you to have a look at my playlist from our cruises throughout all of the lovely Trent Severn Waterway; kzbin.info/aero/PLKhjT5kr2l2EFaPCqEgjxYofTvO9Mbh81 The daily rate for a 30 amp shorepower connection this season is $10.75 ($CAD). Of course, that is on top of the mooring fee. No water available here, other than within the lock station building (where they also have spotlessly clean washroom facilities). Keep in mind that this is one of only a handful of the locks that offer shorepower, as the majority do not.

Paul, you put lite beer in a glass with ice. Just find some Corona NOT lite beer.......as the ice melts it'll become Corona lite beer......lololol

Am I correct in my understanding you may drink onboard your docked boat but you may not step off your boat with your drink?
@BoatingWithBoogaboo3 ай бұрын
From what I have learned, here in Ontario boat passengers who are of legal age may legally consume alcohol within accepted limits only if the boat has permanent cooking facilities, has a permanent sleeping area, has a permanent toilet (a portable toilet does not count); and is moored to the dock, at anchor, or beached (not in motion). Of course, it should go without saying that if one were to have 'too many' the captain shouldn't consider driving the boat again until an appropriate time has passed - usually overnight or longer. As with any other motorized vehicle, common sense and responsibility are in the hands of those who wish to enjoy any alcoholic beverages.

No problem, just remember that I'm not a lawyer or a cop, so be sure to check your local laws 👍
@DougAlesUSA3 ай бұрын
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo Oh, your comment made me realize I did not clarify. I know the drinking and boating laws in my home state of Wisconsin, USA. We cannot be drunk, defined at 0.08% BAL however we can consume an alcoholic beverage as we are driving our boats. The boat does not need to be a cabin boat with head, galley, sleeping either. Of course you need to be of age, 21 years old, and there are exceptions to that rule such as when the person is accompanied by a parent or spouse that is of age. I’m not advocating, nor debating, only sharing my understanding of the law in my home state. We are planning a trip in June 2026 on the Trent-Severn and it’s our plan to follow all local laws. I first heard of the Trent-Severn from a KZbin video by a family called Three@Sea then eventually found other KZbin channels including yours, Scho and Jo, a Facebook group, and a couple of websites including park Canada. I would buy the Trent-Severn “ports guide” now but the book is so darn old at this point, printed during the very early days of the virus, at this point I will wait for them to issue an update then I will buy the new Trent-Severn ports guide.

Just watched your video. Is the boat sold.?
@BoatingWithBoogaboo3 ай бұрын
As of today, not yet. We'll have to see what happens in the next little while, but it's a case of 'would like to sell, as opposed to 'have to sell'. . .

As clean as your boat is, it will fly off the market as soon as you list it.
