From his day one vid on LP TV he seems like just about the nicest guy in the world. Passes the no dickheads test in spades - I wish him every success. YNWA

Yeah…. Genuine, incredibly proud to play for Liv, commitment… we got Italy best player for 10m. Amazing. Won’t swap him for characters like Sancho, Sterling, Oshimen

People are totally underestimating the impact Chiesa will have IMHO.

Mane played his first season on the right, weird that they didn’t know that.

Huge hype for what essentially is a back up winger, seems a lovely guy though never seen anyone so happy to join us he definitely gets it.

Without being funny, that back up Winger is a world class player with a lot of experience and club and international level. Furthermore, Salah can't play every game all season every season, and then we wonder why he lost form last season (barely had a rest since he arrived), and if, God forbid, he got injured, we would have no back up to play there. Even if it's only he plays against some smaller teams, cup games or last 20 minutes, he adds speed and creativeness against tiring teams. He also adds another possible goal threat, whilst also adding an actual wide right forward, wherein defenders have to guess which way he will go, whereas everyone knows Mo wants to come inside, which makes us less predictable, as you have a wide player who can go wide and make space for those inside.

@anantaajith - the reason Chiesa can 'flip' the current trend of right-footers playing on the left wing (and vice versa) is because he is virtually two footed. He scores a lot of goals (and makes plenty of assists) with his left foot. That ability to use either foot is a big difference to Mo - brilliant as he is, his right foot is only for standing on.
