Good old plain water 💧 👌 sometimes the simplest method works. Its good you've compared different substrates, I find perlite is good too for rooting plants

Thank you for this update ! Have you ever tried in sphagnum moss? I have a small cutting without aerial roots (only small brown dots which may be aerial roots) and I'm scared to put in water PS : sorry for mistakes, my English is not very good. Hello from France ! :)

I rooted dozens Dubia cutting, the best way is Spagnum moss

Sure if it has at least some airroots or a piece of stem, I succesfully rooted leafs with very tiny tiny airroots, warmth and light is the key and little moisted moss, as long as you open it for aircirculation its not a problem when you use a lid. Excuse my english too since I am from The Netherlands 🤣💪🇱🇺

Do not put water in the tab in the aquarium only and cover the surface so that the moisture does not come out use moss in tab and put the Monstera.
