I lived in the Fox River Valley area of Wisconsin before moving to the Southeast Coast. Your Sligo reminds me of Wisconsin so much. Thank you for being so gracious to share your homeland and my Oneil ancestors homeland with us. It is truly heart warming. ♥️

I'm loving this series of videos, Colette. Mind you, I had to laugh at the young lady across the road from you on the bridge. Looked like she had a whole beehive under her hood! I mean that with gentle humor, btw. Hope you had a lovely tea and treat xox

I'm actually planning on moving to Sligo from Cork. Currently working in Cork city, but I would prefer a smaller town like Sligo. Hopefully I'll make the transition sometime in 2020 (God willing). Any and all info about sligo, including this video, is great help!

Great quality video. Directly behind where you are, there is a white building right on water. Is it under water?

It speaks volumes that a sizable river through a city has salmon and trout for the table! Does anyone know if there is a similar situation in the U.S.?

Salmon and striper in the Sacramento area rivers. Bass and trout too.
