I agree with Mr. Wiggles' judgement. SB's move was contrary with the music for the tie-breaker round. He got the climax of the song but did not react as a better dancer. :)

Hoan actually thinks about what's he's doing.....such quality to this style of Popping, Locking, and Waving. He also listens to the music and takes his time, which is why he's also extensively detailed when he hits beats and performs his physical abnormalities.

Well, obviously Slim does too. The difference between Hoan and Slim, as far as their thinking is concerned, is that it's a bit easier to see how Hoan thinks about what he's doing in regards to the music. He listens, he understands rhythms and sounds, and he makes them visual with a lot of beatfreaking, lots of playing off of parts of the music as they are heard, and using the appropriate groove and rhythm to accentuate them. Slim's approach to the music is a lot more abstract. Playing off of intricate, "harder to hear" parts of the music, as well as getting really strange with the rhythm of it all, and using some seriously interesting concepts to convey what he's hearing. Different styles of dancing, both executed brilliantly by Hoan, and Slim respectively. Slim just happened to be a bit more on his game that day, than Hoan.

@@GWizJackson Which method is more aproachable for the greater audience? I'd argue that the judges see in Hoan and cleaner version of them selves and judge harshly vs an abstract improver that does movements they wouldn't consider.

Jacob I I'm a dancer to but I have no money I'm just getting older I been dancing from 16 to 17 I was a Jerker hip hop Dougie, shuffler,cat Daddy ,Tutter,but I stopped when I was 18 and started popping When I was 23 I just need to turn this into a job I'm really worried about this I have no support from my family I'm really good a popping I'm 24 how do I turn this into a job?

The best of each categories get paid from various sources: sponsorships, being judges, performing at various event and teching classes ofc

workshops, winning competitions, event pay you the ticket to travel and judge, then you start making new friends and now you have places where to stay while you are in a different place.then someone may ask for a personal class or you create your own brand of clothes. sometimes some of them families have good money and they can choose whatever in their life. some of them may be on the military and always get a paycheck. others can be doing work at home while they travel. hope this helps

You do not need to dance that style to understand what a dancer is doing. I thought Slim dances weird when I first saw him, but I do also realize as a dancer with a decade of experience that he isn't doing anything wrong and he is very very controlled.
