Slim was a bit of a prick during his lifetime. I knew him well...he was a HARD arsed man and I make no apology for speaking out. My mother had an affair with him in the late 60's/70's and my father intends to take the secret to the grave. I'm getting a court ordered DNA test done before my 'father' who was Slim's 'best mate' passes away. Slim & Joy used to visit our hone every year in Tennant Creek...he never cared about my brother or sister - he always asked about me and wouldn't leave until he saw me and rocked me on his knee. He would check in on me every year. Later in life I found out my so called father wanted me aborted because I wasn't his daughter. I need to know WHO my 'father' was...

is this really appropriate to post on social media considering the depth of feeling and trauma involved.

Think that's something you need to sort out privately not on social media
