37:09 If he's snoring and is built like that, he needs corrective surgery. That's sleep apnea. Snoring, usually, is because your throat at the top is like a very basic clarinet or recorder in that if you plug one hole, it changes the airflow and thus the sound. Snoring is usually caused by only being able to breathe through your mouth and then still having congestion lower down, due to obesity or an infection or other reasons. When you only have one airflow and it has trouble making it's way through into your lungs, this creates the vibrating sound that is snoring. So he's already sleeping with an impacted airway. He might not notice that he's snoring (a lot of people with sleep apnea don't, usually because the sudden tossing or wakefulness to prevent suffocation isn't enough to actually remember that they woke up in the first place) but he could potentially suffocate in his sleep. Not gonna lie, how the fuck did his doctor not notice this and go "hmm, this seems like a potential health concern?" So yes, you probably need the pug thing. 😂 -🖊️/🧰

he probably needs surgery for his deviated septum, but isn't sleep apnea only treated with a cpap? i thought that sleep apnea was mainly caused by the airways being blocked due to your tongue relaxing and blocking your airways while you sleep or smthn like that, and then a cpap is used to pump air down your throat to keep the airways open. the nose thing and the sleep apnea probably aren't super connected in cause, but his nose closing while he sleeps probably exacerbated like all his problems. so he probably needs the pub thing and further treatment 😭

@@dgcfgvvgb6555 Sleep apnea is treated by CPAP. The issue here is that he may not be able to breathe on his own if he defaults to trying to breathe through his nose while he sleeps. So it's not the typical case, but CPAP would probably still be helpful. It's not his mouth that's the issue, but he needs to use it, so a CPAP machine giving the assist so he doesn't default to his nose would still work. -🖊️
