Unpopular option, but I do wish review videos were done closer to when the orders were received. These are from Black Friday 2022. If we were interested in purchasing any of the reviewed slimes, there is a pretty good chance the shops don’t have them 10 months later 😣

Yeah. I just went to their slime shop to look around and none of the slimes besides the honey cake were there. If I was buying though, it would be different. this is a review, so people probably want to buy the slimes she recommends.

it doesn’t really give you a review on quality because it’s their own shop but I always follow the shops Tiktok to know when they’re coming out with new batches + algorithm shows me new smaller smile shops

Slime obsidian does not allow negative reviews on their products. 😢 I ordered twice from them; two different slimes each order, and I left glowing reviews on 3 of them and an honest but not overly negative review on the 1 that I wasn’t pleased with (I even left detailed pros and cons!) all three of my very positive reviews show up on the respective product pages but my one 3 star review was never posted. I commented on one of slime obsidian’s YT shorts in regards to this, hoping someone might have an easy explanation, but later that same day, comments were turned off on that short. I felt so trampled on that I haven’t ordered from them since. (edited for spelling)

@@BlithelyBlue actually now that I’m thinking on it, I left a review for the mystery slime and I basically said the slime I got was (an icee slime) was the last thing I would have picked myself so I was a little disappointed. But I loved the scent. It was called Ocean Breeze. I also said that was the risk you take when buying a mystery slime. They never posted the review.

in my opinion, slime obsidian's slimes are usually plain in terms of theme and presentation; however, the slimes are usually pretty awesome and consistent! they were one of the first slime shops i purchased from, and i was satisfied with my order. i would definitely recommend them to people who are looking into slime for the first time. thank you for the review - looking forward to more!

So I started out with Obsidian's Mystery Slime myself about a month ago, cause it's affordable for those of us who are kinda on the edge of spending 20+ USD on a fidget toy. This does seem to be how they get rid of their leftovers and one-offs though, because I couldn't find the one I got on their store. I got Pineapple Ice Cream, it comes in a simple screw-on container, and it smells like a fresh-cracked can of diced pineapple. The scent has dissipated some but it still smells delightful. It's a nice creamy texture with a little bit of fizz, and unless you play with it for too long it doesn't stick. It did not come with any mixins or charms, but it was the only slime I got, so maybe that's normal. I mixed some sprinkles that were leftover from an earlier amazon purchase. They're simpler than say, PeachyBB's, but their stock seems to last longer. With more popular stores you simply *cannot* beat scalpers, reviewers, influencers, and the lucky few who managed to dip into limited stock. I'm very pleased with what I got, and very excited to get the next two I bought- another mystery and their Poison Apple halloween slime.

i dont mind so much when reviews are a few months after purchase. i dont watch them to buy the exact same slimes featured, i like them bc they give a general overview of what a shop's textures are like, and what to expect if you purchase something from them. plus it's still fun to see all the ideas people come up with, even if they aren't all available to buy anymore; it's great slime inspo! and the asmr is always on point too ❤

Slime Obsidian was my first slime purchase. It was okay for being my first purchase but I keep having to "fix" the slimes. They became sticky right after I played with them. I am over it lol.

I also purchased lavender marshmallow which was AMAZING. It was so smooth and buttery and it stretched easily. Also very inflatable and the lavender scent was a bit too extreme, which is common cos I hate perfume and sweet smelling things.

Since I live in Britain,I purchased a slime from slime obsidian and I think it dried out because it was really hard to stretch and kept ripping. The scent was also a bit to extreme. I think it’s mostly because it was a Bingsu bead slime but it’s ok! So jealous that all ur slimes are perfect🥲

Having a similar experience with a bingsu from SO except it is somehow sticky but also rippy. (I live in US fyi). I’ve used activator but I will try the glycerin !

I bought 4 or 5 times from Mush Slimes! The Slimes are amazing! I recommend her Cloud and Jellys! I never had a bad Slime from her, and they last very long! I played with a Slime from her which was nearly a year old. Still perfect!
