Sling attachment points on DDV7M4 and install of a Magpul Paraclip QD Adapter

I figured this out a while ago. First time i tried to transition from strong side and almost choked myself out lol. Makes a huge difference when learning to shoot left or right handed.

Definitely but not everyone needs to transition shoulders. If you are alone in your home with yourself and someone breaks in. You don't need to clear the whole spot like JW. You could just camp and wait for the attack.

@@DieselFi5e You are correct sir, but i have several girls that live with me so I don't have the luxury of waiting. By no means am i JW, but i like to train and shoot enough to be comfortable with shooting in any position or arm.

Was going to get ddm4v7 I see the qd spot on rail but does it come with a qd for the stock or you buy that separately?

It comes with the anchor point but not the sling attachment.

I'm using a SiG Sauer 4x and a Eotech currently. Not a setup I'm used to, but I wanted to expand on other options I'd used before.

It looks like you are installing the adapter into a QD receiver hole that has not been fitted with type 1 metal sleeve. Is that correct? Just trying to find out because it is unclear at Magpul’s site, and you are the only one who appears to be showing an actual install.

I wish I knew what a type 1 metal sleeve was. It wasn't prefitted just a qd hole that DD has on their ARs.

@@DieselFi5e pretty sure it may be specific to magpul stocks. It fits in the QD hole and allows the push button sling mount to seat and stay in place.

@@rjmacreadyoutpost3121 that makes sense. The worst thing about the gun and gear market is the lack of amplifying information. Thus leaving us, the consumers stranded. We have to spend money just to test items out. It gets frustrating and expensive. Hopefully the video helped a little bit.
