runa bead of silicon around the edge, then place some plastic wrap (food wrap )over the inside of the door and make sure it sticks out when the door is closed. This will give tou the seal and thin enough not to spring the door. I've done this and when I was told about it I thought the guy was wack-o but it worked. Remember a small line.

Looking great! Just a random idea for the cargo door gap. Are you going to install some kind of carpet in the cargo area? Not sure how thick it is, but it could give you a finishing touch for the inside part of the door and may fill that gap too.

THe fiddley bits. It takes 10% of the time to do 90% of the work and 90% of the time to do the last 10% of the work.

Evan, for your baggage door, look at Vinyl Foam Weatherseal from Frost King. They make various sizes in Grey that would probably work well.

The heavy-duty loop/felt side of velcro might work as a seal for the cargo hatch.

Evan, what a awesomely cool looking Tsi. Are you chomping at the bit to get it running, and then flying? How is this winter going to effect the final completion and testing of the aircraft? Can’t wait to see it with the wings attached.

How can there be so many fit and finish errors in such a precision machine by a company that prides themselves in quality? Serious question, not knocking Sling, but dang.
@EvanBrunye4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think there’s very many errors overall, just a lot of small detail work. This is pretty much the norm for any composite parts for any kit company. My kit is an early model tsi kit, and the new ones come with many of the issues I’ve run into solved

@@EvanBrunye way cool, makes total sense. Thanks bro. Keep up the excellent work!
