Great tutorial!! Nathan try to dip the nock on hot water for some time and then open it a bit! it works on some kinds of nocks ;)

Thanks for mentioning that! Yes, many nocks can be tuned by simply heating them in water and opening up the gap a bit.

Is some kind of a quick relase mechanical device required, or can I get away with tying some kind of a knot (about a thickness of a shoe-lace) into the D-ring, so that way I have something to grab onto, when pulling back the arrows?

Would Flatband Theraband Gold work as an alternative to tubes? And if so would it need to be a OTT or TTF band setup?

It does not work as well as modern slingshot latex.

Without knowing the details of the arrow you are shooting, it is just a guess. Could be over/underspined, bad release, incorrect alignment of arrow in relation to how you are holding frame. Let us know more info and we will get you sorted.
