@@winstonsmith4003 occasionally, often where I'm at the fish are too smart for flat, close shots But for crazy sharks , sometimes it's best to take them out of the gene pool.

I can't ever get them bustard out the rocks! Had to stand on the rocks and deadlift the shaft out of one one time and the shaft came out as a skewer full of meat...he was definitely crab food..pissed me off!!

@@frankiemckinney5478 yea that's how it is man... Can't say I get them all either. Biggest thing I've learned over the years is the further forward the shot, the better chance at stopping them from holding up too deep Also using a single wrap of line will give you more control - always try and put the breaks on them unless it's a long shot. Have you tried an over under double barb? That helps too for increased pressure while pulling the fish out .
