I wake up in a clean house, happy and content, excited for the day ahead. I make breakfast and meditate, then exercise. I have more than enough money for all the things I need and want. I drive to work and care for my patients who are happy to see me, and I take great care of them. I am confident in my abilities and my coworkers are, as well. I love the people I work with. I breathe throughout the day when I get scared. I have close, lovely friends, and I see them often. Anxiety and depression and guilt are a thing of the past.

For some of us, I think the challenge is truly not knowing who that version of ourselves is. I don’t know what that day would look like. I don’t know what she’d do in the morning, how she’d act, sit, or talk. I feel like I’m multiple “versions” of myself at any given moment of any given day. I shift between being the mom, the boss, the dancer, the friend, the lover, and so on. I genuinely don’t know. Even if I were to write down a version of myself that I think I’d like to become (and I have!), I might wake up three days later not wanting parts of that version, feeling “restricted” by what I’ve told myself I “have to” be. I’m not sure if anyone else feels this way or if it’s just me, but what about people like me? What’s our “fate”?

I never could figure out who I really am, what capable of, and what way of living will be good for me, because it's always shifting and changing (or at least I have a feeling that I'm different all the time). I found your video this morning, watched it several times, did the visualization exercise, and by 1pm today, I received a call for an interview for a very high paying position. A day in the life of Cari, she wakes up, goes to 12-step meeting feeling rested and healed. After she gets ready because she has a full day of clients. She is grateful, content, and blessed. Her new salon is quite, Cari feels safe and content. After work she takes good care of her body and mind by eating a balanced meal and connecting with friends at her meeting she created. I asked Cari what she did to get her and she said she trusted the process, gave the sale over to her higher power and can look back and acknowledge it was a scary process but it all worked out!
