Does your Motorola DM4601 Base radio integrate into the A/C avionics and cyclic PTT / headset - is it considered plug and play or do you have an STC for it?

What are the procedures in case of an engine fire or a failure ?

Engine fire is land immediately and shut down engine if time permits. Here therr is not enough time for that. Eninge failure would be the same as loss of power out of ground effect (still in hv diagram). Dump collective, if time release long line, and go for speed to get more energy for the flare. If no time for that wait until you think its too late and then pull the collective to coushin impact. Engine fire you might survive but an engine failure would most likely be fatal I think (in hover) or at least severe injuries

Does the snow make depth perception harder?

It makes it a little different for some reason. When it's all white the loss of reference can be quite a challenge.

Flat light/whiteout conditions along with snow covered terrain, can be deadly even without a sling load on the hook. Almost rolled up the ship in a ball crossing a large frozen lake up in the tundra. It was scary as hell how quickly the horizon disappeared.
