Well, well Jo - you walked right past my old flat in Chagford Street. My landlady's family ran that pub (now the girls school), it was a classic old boozer with a cozy, convivial atmosphere. The Church (St Cyprian's round the corner ) often had BBC recording recitals, making the most of superb accoustics. The Vicar brought his sherry home in a paper bag - he was a sweet man to have a tipple with. Great neighbours indeed. Stay warm and bright. Love from N2 : - ) x

Love your Lilysilk slip. I’m wearing their pyjamas now and they’re really hard wearing. I even put them through the washing machine and tumble dryer and they come out looking great! I’ve had them a while and no splitting, tearing or seams coming undone. Have a good week! 😊

The Hienz soup😂🤣😂🤣. Best soup when unwell, quick and easy. My kids had it when unwell. They still have it now they are adults. It was Hienz chicken for me when I was young as mum had four of us. ❤️

HI Jo, Love silk too I have 2 pillow cases they certainly do make a difference the fabric is so decadent. For my daughters wedding i had a silk outfit felt devine. I turned 66 on January 18th. My favorite birthday meal is snow crab legs. My sister visited to help me celebrate. Our restaurants here in Michigan have been closed to indoor dining, so we ordered takeout, it was delicious. It was so neat to see that yours is also crab.

Hi Jo. I’m sorry to hear you’ve stopped running as you were enjoying it. I’m the same age as you, also with dodgy knees and ankles, but I completed the Couch to 5K last year and now run regularly (slowly) 2 - 3 times a week with my knees bandaged and wearing elastic ankle supports. It’s hard but so worthwhile - why not give it a go! 😊

Great vlog again Jo. I love them houses , my friend lived and worked in Erin square and they are the same. Fabulous inside. I visited a friend yesterday who lives in Sloane Square. It’s so upsetting seeing London so deserted on a Saturday night . Cannot wait till we get some normality back. When you were walking to your friends house and said you were freezing, I hoped you weren't wearing the slip dress. That needlepoint of Matilda is so beautiful and a labor of love. I had a bout with food poisoning last year and the thought of eating tomato soup would have made me barf. but you were a good friend to drop it off. It's the little things these days. Yes it was funny you carrying Heinz tomato soup. It’s my go to soup as well and had some for lunch today because we have four inches of snow in Byfleet. Granddaughter had such fun on her sledge.
