Alfa performed quite well. Results would be more consistent if all test cars were operated by one driver

Not necessarily, usually owners know their cars better than "one driver". This way we are trying to get the best of the car abilities.

As an Alfa owner can say that sadly it has no TC off button so it is always very aggressive on cutting off power. It does occasional 4x4 job fine and handles like a sports car, something audi just could only dream of

Also it is well known, that Alfa Romeo is more sports car and Audi is family car. And lets not to forget that everyone has different taste and different way of thinking🫡

How on earth have they solved the classic Torsen problem (zero grip = zero power to the other axle) , resulting to so little axle spin? Torsen gen 3 can deliver this kind of result with the 60/40 split? Or, is it Torsen center diff at all?

RWD biased for sporty driving on road. Quattro is more for safety on bad conditions. Both are great at what they are.

Torque vectoring - I think.. Off road mode is like: "Oh you're slipping - let me handle that" While auto is like: "slipping huh - bad, huh, even worse huh, okay here we go!" LOL

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers just joking. i do not understand why they changed naming conventions. in the past we had audi 1.8T, 4.2 or BMW 316, 320. It was obvious what displacement there is. Now we have BMW 320 with 1.6T or 45TFSI with 2.0

Both have clutch packs but in opposite layout, Alfa is RWD based, Audi is FWD based.

The Alfa did pretty well, but most of them time in extreme cases, the Audi figured it out a lot faster.

Nope, you can't go full power on roller test, it would damage the car, rollers and everything around. Speed is up to 25 km/h, usually system takes control over the throttle.
