I believe that rock and metal music should also really have a special place at the Grammys and it should be televised. Rock and metal live performances are mostly better and more energetic and intense than R&B and pop music live performances.

It's not about what instrument they play, it's about what they bring to the table in terms of music writing, stage presence, and relationship with the band. It's like saying that if someone you love dies you can just "replace them." It doesn't happen.

I agree completely. Corey's voice has come a long way since this year, and he's 100% better as far as intonation and his screamo voice is just badass sounding. And as for the drummer well... Joey Jordison... Nuff said

Actually he did blew out his voice its evident during this era and especially in 2008 his voice was much more growler and deeper matter of fact Corey actually needed a voice coach during I believe 2004/2005 or probably before..nowadays he's getting his voice back

If you knew a thing about music, you might be able to appreciate the multi-percussion arrangement this band has going on, because for your information Heavy Metal is not just guitar riffs, and soaring vocals. He was the original drum kid player, but he steped aside for Joey Jordanson. He made the band's image, and is a big part of their sound.
