Me too, it really builds up to the heaviness of the song.

Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat instrumental with Corey's vocals and Anders on backing vocals would be the perfect version of "Gently." In my humble opinion.

i think someone already made that, you'd have to go looking for it though.

I respect MFKR place in Slipknot history but the few changes in the line up between this and self titled made a world of difference. This version of Gently is cool. I enjoy it but the version that’s on Iowa is so epic. I think people get so caught up in the nostalgia of it and love to say this version is better but it’s clearly not. The atmosphere of the Iowa version is on a whole other level

I prefer the atmosphere of the Iowa version but this one is really good

@@CarnageRemixes this version is good in its own right. I’m just not the biggest fan of Andrea vocals. Slipknot still had a lot of growing and evolving to do at this stage. MFKR has its place in the bands story but if they hadn’t changed from that point Slipknot would be no where as big today as they currently are. They probably wouldn’t even still be together

@@IsThatReallyTone yeah i agree. I like Anders' vocals, there are cases where it's awful and cases where it works really well
