@experssion123 It's just so insane to me because I've been around a lot of emotionally immature adults at work who are in their 50s-70s and still throw temper tantrums or lack respect for others (and the majority aren't going senile). It's astounding because I know so many who would brush off and immediately judge Slipknot and other based on their appearance/music, but they show more emotional maturity here than those other people could ever show in a lifetime. I'm so glad for it. People should always be striving to be better, no matter what their age or backgrounds. If anyone has room for growth, it's people who know they aren't perfect and want to try to put more good into the world, even with things like not wanting to allow hate in their heart. I'm here for it 100% 🙌 ❤️❤️‍🔥

I've met Cory once. We had a really heartfelt 1 on 1 conversation for like 10 whole minutes at a music festival. I didn't even realize who he was until about halfway through the conversation. He was a really, REALLY good person. A really cool guy, extremely down to earth. Edit: not sure why some people are saying I'm making this up, because I'm not, but it doesn't matter whether or not you believe me. What matters is that I'll have that memory with me forever, and Cory Taylor is a freaking awesome person.

Its crazy how we see metal music so differently in our older age. I liked slipknot when I was a teen because the way they sounded and the shock value of metal. Now I LOVE them because I understand the lyrics, the way their songs tell a relatable story and I now understand the lyrics aren't about shock value but more so about the difficult emotions of life.
