Hey Elena, peeling garlic is one of many annoying chores when cooking. But a chef showed me 2 tips for peeling garlic that made life in the kitchen easier. 1. Cut both ends off the garlic clove & place on chopping board. Using the flat side of the knife, press down hard on the garlic clove. After doing that, the skin will come off easily. 2. Buy a garlic press. Insert garlic clove with skin on & press until garlic is minced. Reach into the garlic press & pull the skin out. Glad you are teaching your boys to cook - their future wives will thank you one day!

Events , if you put a little salt with the diced garlic, then flatten and mix together, it forms a paste to mix into your foods or for garlic bread. Very simple. Your babies love their vegetables, have you looked at Ratatouille ? You can make this with old vegetables if really fresh aren’t available, eat for breakfast lunch or dinner. So funny and as much as you hate getting bogged it’s always entertaining to watch.. The Murray can turn to slop so fast and take a long time to dry out so you definitely did the right thing getting out as soon you can.. We can definitely relate we got caught out in NSW slip sliding in our truck for 90kms (4wd wouldn’t work either) and then the big $$$ at the car wash after is never fun either.. Top effort dragging the van out of that. I assume the first camping area was just below lock 9? Most of our trips are down below there it’s a great part of the world. Had plenty of muddy trips out of there but if possible avoid travelling out just after heavy rain as it’s pretty average getting bogged and no camp 😢. Ollie’s becoming such a little dude and always smiling you have some great kids there and warms the heart watching them grow up 😊. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait for next episode 👍

Don’t stress about the roads either they will bounce back fine. It was still hard underneath, the surface gets sticky and cakes the tyres up but you just slip around on it and don’t go deep with the little rain you had at the time. Damage is done when we have had a heap of heavy rain for days and it soaks through. We see the thrill seekers wanting to test their four wheel drives out then and digging ruts that deep the diffs are dragging. That’s what stuffs the roads and pisses us locals off. When it dries out a bit of traffic and you won’t notice. Not a good place to be if rain forecast but been caught out before and sometimes you can’t wait for it to dry out. You certainly didn’t look like you were doing it just for content like some of the 4WD channels. 😎

Curious about what tyre pressures you were running in the truck & van??? This is also an issue with towing a big van - whilst you need somewhere to live whilst on the road, it does cause its own issues, mainly being the extra weight that you need to pull out of areas like this. Hope you had fun cleaning it off before going into the caravan park!!!

Thanks for watching Peter we had gravel pressure 50 psi👍 the van actually doesn’t weigh a hell of a lot more than the old 16ft 🤠
