I've had my eye on fishing this mark for a number of years and finally made the commitment to try and fish it. Lure fishing was the chosen method with cod and pollack being the target species.
Question is, is the effort worth the reward?

Breaking news just in.... A popular KZbinr and fisherman was rescued by helicopter from an isolated coastal rock ledge today after becoming literally helpless with laughter at the amusing antics of the local seals as they snaffled and yoinked his catch. Doctors who treated him report that they had to administer what would normally be a fatal overdose of misery pills just to bring him down from hysterical paroxysmal paralysis to a safe though still uncontrollable level of chortling. 'I literally nearly died laughing' said the man, still wiping tears of unparalleled joy from his eyes several hours later as he recalled seeing a seal come to the surface just yards away to flag him off while necking his trophy fish after an arduous climb and hours carrying heavy equipment. Doctors said a full recovery is expected but that if anything nearly as funny happens to him again 'it could be curtains'.

It's hard to pick up but I was testing every dodgy looking rock (tapping each one to hear if it's hollow) I used just in case there was a lose rock around, should have worn a head cam rather than a chestie to show it. I've spent too long climbing to ruin my fishing. Tight lines 👍🎣

Here in America where I live we just simply climb in the boat to get to places hard to reach. Try it sometime.

Best video yet, enjoyed your climb down more than the fishing, superb stuff have recommended this as a must watch video to my friends. One question please what make of trousers are you wearing, they must be super quality to take all the rock climbing you do and when you get back to the car they look so clean and tidy anybody would think you’ve just got back from the shops. Also very impressed with the picture and sound quality of your videos (up to David Attenborough standards) also what little drone filming you did was superb and really helped to make this a very enjoyable watch,well done. Thank you Graham and sorry for taking so long to get back to you. The pants are from a brand called Revolution Race (RVRC) and the model is GP Pro, great pants and very hard-wearing, with good vents on the side too. I know what you mean about the drone footage, I had a fair bit more but ran out of time to edit it all before my usual posting slot came up. Lessons learnt. Thanks again and tight lines👍🎣

Great video, I live in Hong Kong and also like to climb to locations that are difficult to get to …. I use 5:10 stealth shoes great for climbing wet rocks. Could you share the pants/ trousers you use. They looks great for this kinda fishing … thanks from HK
@SlippyLimpets
@SlippyLimpets Жыл бұрын
Love 5.10 but their soles don't work well on wet grass. I'm using SCARPA at the moment, not quite as sticky as Stealth, but have great all-round traction. The pants are RVRC GP Pro and are tough as, the vents work well for long walks as well. Thanks for watching and tight lines👍🎣

Man ye have gonads like basketballs. I wouldnt even zoom in on that spot on google maps let alone climb out there. Mad as a brush 🤣 but fair play to both of ye. Its great to see a reward put of all that effort. Also i almost threw up when the view showed the steep climb down. Well done great video. 👍👍💪💪🎣🎣
