Any of you Turks ever see the game from 1995 where Magic Johnson played a Turkish team over there? He went around the world playing games with a team of old retired NBA players, a lot of them were his fellow Laker teammates. There was a game he sent to OT at the buzzer in Australia that was great. This Turkey game, though, is my favorite. I have it in my game collection, I haven't uploaded a clip of it yet. It was a fun game. You Turkish fans loved him. He was doin all his no look passing shit and faking defenders out. There was a time where a Turkish player stole a no look pass he tried to make and the crowd roared and Magic laughed and clapped and gave the guy a "high-5" (hand slap) when the ball was dead. There was a play where they were running up court and Magic got to the 3 pt arc and a Turkish player running behind him thought he was going to shoot a 3 so Magic knew he was behind him and he put the ball up with one hand as a fake and the defender flew by him. Crowd was laughing. Then during a timeout, Earvin went to midcourt and was gettin the crowd to stand up and cheer and he was throwing his fist. Damn that was funny. I've never see ANY crowd give Earvin more of a cheer than the Turks. Finally at the buzzer, Magic threw in a halfcourt shot as easy as could be and the Turks roared again. Only Magic could get a crowd up like that, period. Not even Jordan. You guys would've liked to have seen Mike too, but he wasn't that kinda friendly personality. Magic was THE GREATEST All-Star game, pickup game, preseason game, charity game, foreign league appearance game entertainer EVER. There's no comparison. He was able to give any crowd their money's worth. He did all the stuff they wanted to see and I've seen him hit shots at the buzzer for wins or halfcourt shots all the time. He could do that over and over. I don't know how. He really was magic. He lived up to that nickname.
