2:18 wow. So it’s a horror game that takes place in old Hong Kong. Japanese always so fascinated with the old Hong Kong and Kowloon Wall city atmosphere. Even though that was the 90s. Looks like the Thing in old Hong Kong.

To be clear, this is not a horror game. it's an action game with horror elements. The actual gameplay could be better compared to the director's other work, Gravity Rush. That's not to say it's bad, just that the expectations are a bit different.

@@sdqsdq6274 There was a Kowloon Wall City replica in Kawasaki, Japan for awhile before they closed down in 2019. It seems whenever I see Japanese related media glorifying HK. It's usually with the atmosphere of the Kowloon Wall City. Government been encouraging to remove the neon signs sticking out to the streets. Kowloon Wall City was taken down in the 90s. That's old Hong Kong.

There was a game back in the day called "Geist". I played it on the Gamecube... similar idea. You play as a disembodied spirit able to possess people, animals, even objects. It was a banger back then! This reminds of it, thx man! I think I'm gonna have to get this game!

Word of advice, don't think of this as a horror game. It's an action game with horror elements. It isn't trying to be Silent Hill or Siren, it's trying to be its own thing. And, in my opinion, it does it well. But thinking of it as a horror title will only set expectations it isn't trying to meet.

@@Neotenyx I like the Game Design, some of the Story, Set Pieces,Music, Enemy and Boss Designs. But there are sometimes sudden Difficulty Jumps throughout the game (for playing on Normal) where the enemies become overwhelming and don't provide much "wiggle room" in evading and attacking them.
