Thanks for posting this video, I got to see my Dad working on the bridge at 2:08 , he has passed away since but its great to see him hard at it.

Thank you for an excellent video. I grew up in Wellington but in the summer of 1959/60 we went to Auckland to visit my grandmother and pick up my sister who returned from the UK by ship. I was eight at the time and loved crossing the new bridge. All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

always interesting to a part of aucl;ands history. Made me laugh though how those workers are just casually walk around the beams of the bridge with no safety gears. lol defintly cant work like that these days
