Ah 15098! 15098! 15098 Ray! What can I say about this individual scania was it was a beast! An absolute beast! I mean I would say this was one of the best scanias on the 97 as it had everything, monster compressors (yes I am going to the extent of saying monster compressors), fast acceleration that every time I had it a driver would floor it to the max. It was a fast bus and really had good brakes. This was bus I had a few times on the route but what a beast 15098 was. Especially even in the first 2 minutes the compressor was bloody loud which went to show how brilliant 15098 was. It was So awesome! But yeah it is a shame scanias are gone on this route and 15098 is withdrawn but it’s not dead as it has been saved by a company called coach event services in the south so that’s where it lives today. Great video Ray and amazing you got 15098! Bloody machine and monster it was! 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨

Haha yeah this was a nice one, plenty of them have amazing compressors yeah, all Stagecoach scanias are like this. All bus brakes feel the same so wdym good. happy to hear it's still living in, in the south. Thanks for this information.

You know what I always wondered as well. But you know at the bottom deck of 15098 and you see a pole just by the backseats and the emergency exit door, how comes Stagecoach painted that pole part turquoise and the rest was orange? where that is RATP’s coloured poles they used on their poles. So why did Stagecoach did that instead of the standard orange? I mean I never took notice of it but fascinating how it was painted turquoise that it isn’t RATP you know? I do wonder if it lives on with it since 15098 is with CES (coach event services)

It's because it's a fill in for the previous pole that was orange that was there before lol
