I purchased a new blowgun from Tim Wells and decided it was a good time to put it to use.

I can't see why not. It's a single shot instrument and with low velocity. Perfect for small game. I need to dig deeper with our regs for use for hunting.

Awesome, Tom. I used to shoot a blowgun quite a bit. I got to the point where I could knock a box elder bug off the wall at about 12 to 15 feet pretty consistently. Killed a grouse with one, which was pretty fun.

So far it's pretty fun. It'll take awhile to dial in my shots. Hoping to use it not just for target shooting.

There is a blowgun in your hand, and there is a twin blowgun that is its spirit. Between them is a spirit path. The spirit blowgun is very shy, and if you look straight at it, it will disappear. So when you shoot, look only at the target and the spirit blowgun will appear beside the blowgun in your hands. It will stay visible as long as you look at your target, and not at your blowgun. Your dart wants to travel the spirit path between the blowguns to the target. Help it by lining the spirit path up with the target, but do not look at the blowgun or the spirit blowgun and the path will disappear. The dart spirit is blind, but can see through your eyes. Be sure to never take your eyes off the target, so your dart can see its way to the target. Keep your head and body very still, so you will not frighten any of these spirits. Do these things, and breathe a confident round breath into the blowgun, and the target spirit will be pleased, and will come to meet your dart. (welcome to my life-long obsession)

Can't use them in Arizona, but will spend two months in Alaska this summer where it is legal to hunt small game (rabbit, grouse, squirrel, and ptarmigan}. So I'm practicing and getting better. Thanks for the video.

Cool. But why muzzleload it? Just ease the dart into the breech pass the little blockage where you won't inhale it (lol), much quicker. I watched some Tim Wells videos where he killed larger animals with it. He went to south Avrica and killed baboons with it that had become a nuisance and a danger to locals. He killed many rabbits, etc. I can't wait till I get mine.
