For anyone curious, here’s a fun fact about the pole thing on the front of jelly and crainers Jeeps. Obviously they’re based of Jeeps used in ww2, and during the war, soldiers would put the windshield down, leaving them vulnerable to barbed wire. So the post was out there, to cut barbed wire fences, so either the soldiers driving wouldn’t get hurt, and so they could clear a safer path for other soldiers
